Jimoh Rauf Badamosi is an accomplished entrepreneur, an international businessman, a philanthropist and a humanitarian. He is originally from Ikirun in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun state. However, he was born and bred in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu state, where he had his early education and teenage years.
He studied Public Administration at the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa before proceeding to Nasarawa State University Keffi for his degree programme. His relentlessness humanitarian services and his philanthropic gesture got him recognized by the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy Enugu, and he was awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree.
Burning with the desire to carve a niche for himself in the world of business, he started off as an itinerant supplier of timber and trade in various items in Nsukka, Enugu State and Abuja. His sojourn into the energy sector began with a robust training and mentorship with a Chinese energy giant, Anji Dasol Science and Technology Limited where he acquired foremost expertise on marketing, installation and management of solar energy.
Jimoh Rauf Badamosi has a creative and innovative mind right from his childhood, which propelled him to soar high in the world of business and entrepreneurship. His sojourn into the energy sector began with a robust training and mentorship with a Chinese energy, Anji Dasol Science and Technology, and other forms of advanced mentorship and partnership with the German giant, JVG Technology.
He founded JRB Solar Investment Limited in 2010 with the mission and determination to close the gap that exists in the access to energy by most Nigerians. His vision is to be the foremost provider of renewable energy and to make electricity available and affordable for individuals and communities across the country. In less than a decade after the enunciation of his grand vision, JRB Solar Investment Limited has become one of the leading renewable energy companies in Nigeria. Today, JRB Group has expanded into various business concerns with interests in energy, technology, oil and gas, and construction.
As a philanthropist and a humanitarian, Jimoh Rauf Badamosi has continued to improve the wellbeing of the less privileged by engaging in different forms of social interventions for the welfare of others and the improvement of their living conditions.
He has given lifeline to many individuals and families, empowered hundreds of youths with start-up capital, built new and rehabilitated old infrastructural facilities, including roads, schools, hospitals, provision of solar streetlights in many communities across a number of states in Nigeria.
