Welcoming guests at the event, the vice Chairman of the Foundation and wife of the Founder, Mrs Hadiza Jimoh-Rauf Badamosi, praised the vision and compassion of her husband and assured that the Foundation will definitely live up to its expectations.

The legislator in his words said “I would like to share something very inspiring about Dr Jimoh Rauf Badamosi. He is one of the most silent givers I know. And that act of carrying out kindness in a quiet manner without letting other people sing his praises, or making a public spectacle of his kindness is not just inspiring but worthy of emulation. So, we are here today to support his charity and kindness in our own little way. Dr Jimoh Rauf Badamosi, your heart of kindness is large, maybe larger than life itself. But the truth is, you cannot do it alone. We are all keying into the mission and vision of this foundation together.”

The Keynote speaker, the Head of Corporate Communications of JRB Solar Investment Limited, Mr Theophilus Enemali, went down memory lane to bring into fore the shining light of Late Rauf Badamosi, whose abiding love continued to blossom even ten years after his demise. He extolled him by giving a graphic reflection about his life and time. He said, “It is very important for us to reflect on the life and times of the Late Mr Rauf Badamosi as we unveil this foundation in his name. Daddy Rauf Badamosi of the blessed memory was a quintessential, honest, peaceful and committed family man who impacted lives positively in his immediate environment, his community and the society at large with his humble and sincere lifestyle.”

Mr Enemali also highlighted the brilliant wisdom of Late Daddy Rauf Badamosi, by quoting a powerful philosophical teaching that guided his life while he was on earth. “I would like to end my speech with a quote from Late Mr Rauf Badamosi, he said and I quote You don’t need to have a lot of money for you to touch the lives of people. This powerful statement is a clarion call on all of us to keep in mind too, that even from the little we have, we can use it to sparkle joyful laughter on the faces of those whose hope and light are going off.”

The Rauf Badamosi Foundation (RBF) was established in 2022 as a passion-driven charity organization that focuses on the economic and material empowerment of less-privileged people and underserved communities.
